Our time around the sun

Our Time Around The Sun Psalm 104:19b: "

The sun knows the place of its setting. Our time around the sun measures the seasons. In the spring, we plant bulbs and seeds, expecting blossoms. We focus on warm weather, vacations, and family time in the summer. Before we know it, Fall creeps in in New England with the shorting of days. As the sun dips early in the winter, we select sweaters and hats to warm us while we pull the last thread of summer close. As a community, we take communion monthly. Weekly, we recite the Lord’s Prayer and sing the hymns of the faith. Daily, we mark the world with prayers and petitions for God’s mercy in all the places where the Spirit of God is needed. This holy and sacred rhythm points to the SON OF GOD, Jesus Christ. We seek to honor Jesus Christ, who, with the Father and Holy Spirit, made the rhythm of the universe reflected in our lives and worship.

Proverbs 3:9-10: "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine."

Joel 2:23: "Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for He has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before."

Psalm 1:3: "He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that He does, He prospers."
